Wooden lip plates integrate the characteristic warmth and intimacy of wood with the sound, adding another layer of complexity and depth in combination with a high projection of the gold tube.

The 14K riser provides the characteristic warmth of gold, comfortable resistance, depth and complexity to the head joint’s overall sound. Articulation is more similar to the all metal head joint.
